It was once said that a live-action Jetsons movie involving Kanye West would come into existence. Now Deadline‘s reporting that they’re not quite sure what happened to that one but there is now a Jetsons animated feature in the works from Warner Bros.

This is pretty much all we know at this point, other than that Matt Lieberman is writing. He doesn’t have much on his IMDb other than Dr. Doolittle: Tail to the Chief, but apparently he got the gig after working on the upcoming Scooby-Doo animated feature.

The original Jetsons was apparently set in 2062. Kinda wondering if they’ll go optimistic and keep that year or push it forward to another century, and/or perhaps have global warming factor in.
